A Visit to Hank Williams Boyhood Home & Museum

We start our video today in Canton, Ohio at the Canton Memorial Auditorium which was the location of Hank Williams Sr. last scheduled concert on January 1, 1953. Tragically, in route to the show, Hank suffered a massive heart attack and died in the back seat of his Cadillac.

From here, we travel back in time and visit Hank’s Boyhood Home and Museum in Georgiana, Alabama – near Montgomery. We were delighted to receive a special tour of Hank’s home and provided with stories and knowledge that you likely won’t find in a book or hear of from anywhere else. Some of Hank’s personal possessions and relics here date back to the earliest known to exist.

So, come on in and stay a while. You’ll be glad you did!
