On this week’s episode, we’re going to share with you the story of Baseball Hall of Famer Addie Joss, the great Cleveland pitcher who achieved the second recorded perfect game in the modern era behind Cy Young and whose death spurred the very first but unofficial all-star game in 1911.
We’ll then take you with us to Toledo, Ohio to Woodlawn Cemetery to visit Addie’s gravesite on this, the 112th anniversary since his death on April 14, 1911.
So, if you love baseball and baseball history, then stick around as we have the perfect lineup in store for you right here on History and Relics!
