On this episode, we’re visiting one of the most unique shops in the country, the new Enesco Gift Shop and Gallery featuring Department 56 located right across the street from Elvia Presley’s Graceland in Memphis Tennessee.
This store is brand new to the Memphis area and is a first of its kind gift shop featuring the world’s largest display of Department 56 Lit Villages. The gallery has the first 6 lighted buildings that started The Original Snow Village created in 1976. From there, there are more than 1,500 individual Village pieces and accessories on display including Dickens Village, Harry Potter, A Christmas Story, Peanuts, Disney, and many more.
We were there at the opening of the shop and gallery in November and even got a chance to meet legendary artist Jim Shore who signed a few exclusive pieces we purchased. And now we want to share our experience with all of you collector enthusiasts. Right here on History and Relics.
