History and a Cup of Tea at Buhl Mansion in Sharon, Pennsylvania

Today we’re visiting the former home of Frank and Julia Buhl in Sharon, Pennsylvania. This stunning and majestic Richardsonian Romanesque home was completed in 1896 and remains the architectural legacy of Youngstown, Ohio architect Charles Owsley. Frank Buhl is best known as the father of the industrial Shenango Valley with many of his philanthropic efforts still evident throughout the area.

Let us share with you today a bit of history on the Buhl’s then transport you back to the gilded age as we take a peek inside this marvelous mansion while we indulge in a festive cup of tea for an event hosted by the Buhl Mansion as well as the Sharon Historical Society. All right here on History and Relics!
